The Start Date

Drum roll please!  At last it's here. We're so excited. The portaloo is due today! We've been working hard too - clearing the back so that the diggers can get in and panicking about insurance clauses in the contract and building regulations and Thames water permissions.

Rok (our main man) is due at 9am. We await with eager anticipation but are disappointed when at 9:15am, Rok arrives alone and with the news that they won't be starting 'til Wednesday. Applications to the above mentioned authorities need to be made etc...

Gutted! But no big deal really in the grand scheme of things. Only now - when they start we'll be in Ireland at Fran and Roisin's wedding. God knows what we will return to on Saturday morning.
